Playsms does not send to inbox messages that contains ' character

Hi, i’ve installed a sms server with debian 10, gammu(1.4.0) and playsms 1.4.5 i’ve noticed that playsms doesn’t send to inbox any messages with ’ in the text(for example with the word don’t). i see them in the log but not in the inbox.
any other message is delivered correctly

any suggestion?
