Russian language for the forum or playSMS ?
For playSMS. If I will change file /var/www/html/plugin/language/ru_RU/LC_MESSAGES/messages.po, it’s right?
after editing all po files in all ru_RU folders you need to compile it
go to playSMS source folder and compile it, for example your playSMS source folder is in ~/playsms-1.4.2 and your playSMS installation path is in /var/www/html/playsms:
cd ~/playsms-1.4.2/contrib/tools/language/
./update-1-2-3-4.sh /var/www/html/playsms
